It’s because MANY ppl were expecting actual new maps/missions/locations and not some overpriced cash grab that the 7 deadly sins pack clearly is! The few ppl in here defending ioi may not have issues with the current post game content, but the majority of the community do. A simple Reddit or ioi forum search will tell you that. Is H3 the best yet for putting all 3 games under one roof and giving us a ton of contracts, escalations and other related stuff together? Of course! But most ppl want ioi to end H3 with a bang and add a ton of NEW content in the form of locations, not just outfits and remade locations/missions. Even if it’s lore breaking, ppl wanted control of Lucas Grey and the ability to go to other locations using him. No one cares if using 47’s outfits on top of a Lucas skin changes things, they just want to be able to have fun.
Also, Mr Freeze may rant a lot, but some of his concerns are definitely justified. He does point out inconsistencies, and yes, it’s gotten old listening to him rant on, but his walkthroughs (even his refined elusive targets methods; giving options for new agents or agents who have unlocks) are still very helpful and better than mostly all of the content creators out there. If you just use him for elusive targets, he barely (if ever) uses those vids to rant, and fact is, he keeps it short/to the point so you can ignore all his other content & just watch his ETs and profit.
Everyone gets enjoyment differently out of the current hitman, but until ioi release some true post game content in the form of new locations, it will continue to be considered “lazy” on their part. Also, they’re catching flak because simple fixes like being able to shoulder swap while walking (and not just while aiming a weapon) and many other “issues/bugs” still persist this long after the game released. Old, better features from H2 still have not returned, so the majority are critical when ioi are more concerned with following their monetary roadmap over fixing missing features that should’ve been in game since launch. THAT is why the community calls them lazy. THAT is why many ppl rant. Understanding the “why” in this situation should make it clear to everyone who wants to blindly praise ioi why so many ppl are like that.
It’s a great game (and amazing trilogy), but fanboy-ing and ignoring glaring problems is the wrong move here. If you refuse to be critical of things you love, you’ll only ever receive sub par products.
