Trivia

  • The actual pistol's name is PSM 5.45x18mm, not MAKAROV. The PM Makarov fires a completely different 9x18mm cartridge and is in no way similar to the PSM. They are two completely different firearms. The PSM was designed in 1969 while the Makarov was developed in 1951. The Makarov pistol was the standard issue sidearm for the USSR from 1951 to 1991, although it still remains in service. The PSM was popular with KGB and the Militsiya (Police) and higher echelon Communist party members.
  • In real life, the PSM pistol has an 8 round magazine
