A New Life is the fifth mission in Hitman: Blood Money. Agent 47 must assassinate a Witness Protection Program witness Vinnie "Slugger" Sinistra, and retrieve crucial microfilm.
A New Life[]
We are sending you down to the other end of the state, 47.
The target is a gangster by the name of Vinnie Sinistra. He is in a witness protection program pending a court appearance later this month. Our client wants to be sure Sinistra does not make it to the witness box. Sinistra's also got some hard evidence that cannot be allowed to see the light of day. Our clients think it may be on a bit of microfilm, ensure that you retrieve it. Sinistra is extremely unstable and has not taken well to suburban life. They are having a birthday party for the youngest child on Sunday, and this may give you the angle you need to get in. The house is being monitored and protected by the feds, so extreme discretion is required. Tread lightly, 47.

Agent 47 must assassinate a former Cuban crime lord Vinnie "Slugger" Sinistra, who is under the protection of the FBI, and retrieve the evidence – microfilm.

- Caterer - Allows access to the ground floor after being searched, but not to the pool.
- Corky the Clown - Allows access to the ground floor and the pool after being searched, will also be searched when entering the house from the pool unless if following Vinnie's wife.
- FBI Agent - Allows access to the entire house.
- Garbage Man - Allows access to the backyard of the houses.
- Pool Cleaner - Allows access to the pool area, will be allowed inside the house if following Vinnie's wife.

Vinnie Sinistra's gardening neighbor.
- When alerted, the FBI will call for backup. Two limousines will arrive with agents armed with the MP7. They station themselves around Vinnie Sinistra's house, making it more difficult to operate undetected. The backup will not be called when Vinnie Sinistra is assassinated, nor will their arrival affect the mission rating.
- A sideyard dog named King immediately attacks Agent 47 and alerts FBI agents if he is in the wrong disguise.
- If the surveillance van FBI agent witnesses 47 with the box of donuts, he will order him to give them up before eventually and humorously becoming hostile.
- Corky the Clown often goes to his van to sneak a drink. He can be sedated or killed, and his body can be hidden in a box in the back of the van.
- The garbage truck recycles the bodies and can be used for body disposal indefinitely.
- There is an Air Rifle in a tree house overlooking Vinnie Sinistra's premises. Darts can be found in the veterinarian's house opposite Sinistra's. The rifle can be collected for the Hideout; doing it unnoticed can be difficult. One method is to throw the rifle into Sinistra's backyard, where it will be found by an FBI agent and stored in the security room, retrieve it and take it to the basement ICA Crate. Also, utilizing the detonator glitch is an option.
- Knocking Mrs. Sinistra out while she is in the pool will result in her accidental death.
- Disposing Mrs. Sinistra's body without taking the microfilm necklace will result in mission failure.
- Vinnie Sinistra stays in his office for fifteen seconds. If he gets incapacitated in there, after fifty seconds his personal bodyguard enters the room to check on him.

- PC/Xbox 360 It is impossible to throw down bodies or push people over the railing from the interior balcony on the second floor.
Trivia[]
- The only mission in Hitman: Blood Money with backup security from outside the map.
- The license plates of both the garbage truck and Corky the Clown's van say "BADBLOD" ("bad blood" or "bad blod," which in Danish means "Bath Blood"). The caterer's delivery van license plates say "MUNCH1".
- The Federal Bureau of Investigation does not run the Witness Protection Program; the United States Marshals Service does.[1]
- The mission was mentioned in the "World of Assassination" trailer for HITMAN with Vinnie Sinistra canonically dying of an accident: "...in San Diego, an informant is killed in an accident, a microfilm is stolen, and a mafia trial is cancelled for lack of evidence." with the text "2004" on the screen – the year in which the mission takes place.[2]
Easter Eggs[]
- Steal the microfilm necklace and use both lighter fluid bottles to sabotage the barbecue. When Mrs. Sinistra catches fire, FBI agents will make a line on the pool's edge and applaud, then do a Mexican wave with her jumping into the pool dead.[3]
