Alligators are animals that are occasionally feature in the Hitman series. First appearing in Hitman: Blood Money, Alligators are a useful tool for body disposal, but never attack 47. Inflatable crocodiles, similar to alligators, are featured in World of Assassination.

Description[]

in the Crocodilia order in the genus Alligator of the family Alligatoridae. Like humans and most other non human animals, they are vertebrates, meaning they have an internal skeleton protecting their internal orgaBlo

They have rough dark green bodies that are about 3 meters, approximately 9.84 feet, in length. Their bodies are covered in rugged scales. Underneath they have short front and rear legs and a large tail. In their front, their snouts have large nostrils which they can use to be partially submerged underwater without having to resurface to resupply oxygen.

Appearances[]

Alligators can be found in Hitman: Blood Money, during the mission Till Death Do Us Part, swimming in the swamp waters surrounding the mansion grounds.

They will eat any NPCs thrown into the water, making them useful Body Containers. Any NPCs disposed of this way will be killed, but their bodies never found.

Near the start of the aforementioned mission, several wedding guests can be seen leisurely shooting alligators, an activity which Agent 47 can join in on. The target John LeBlanc also enjoys feeding alligators dead chicken. They appear to be killable but will continuously respawn.

Additionally, they are referenced in the mission Death on the Mississippi, where the targets the Gator Gang is named after them, and the other target Skip Muldoon is given a FN-2000 in a case by some business contacts for alligator hunting.

Most alligators seen in-game swim partially submerged at the water surface, making them easy enough to spot. They are quite durable, withstanding 3 shotgun blasts before dying.

Trivia[]

  • Strangely, alligators leave 47 alone, no matter how far into the swamp water he goes.
