Barbie Deep is a minor/background character in Hitman: Absolution. She appears in the mission "Hunter and Hunted" during the second segment "Vixen Club".
Character Information[]
Barbie Deep is a cashier for the Vixen Club. She will always stay in the cash register room with a TV that is surveilling a room in the Vixen Club. If the player enters the club, it can be implied she denied David Skarins access to enter due to a lack of funds. However when trying to bribe his way in, Thomas Nadel will kick him out.
Behind the Scenes[]
In a promotional image of Absolution, it showcased a screenshot used to promote the game and one of its many locations, that being the Vixen Club. Funnily enough, Barbie was never meant to be a cashier for the establishment but rather was to stand near the upstairs window watching as the NPC's outside interact with each other. In the final game, Barbie Deep cannot enter the room with the window but can make it near the door way.
Trivia[]
- Barbie Deep was a custom target in the Contracts Mode for Absolution.
- Barbie's entire purpose is to show the player how "explicit" the club/NPCs in the level are going too look. This is implied if she is nudged or by taking a look at her uniform.
- If disguised as a Chicago police officer, Barbie will greet 47 as if he is an officer in a very polite and kind tone of voice. Sometimes, she will even compliment the assassin.
- Barbie shares the same model with two other characters, those being: Tara McGowan (another stripper in the same mission) and The Cowgirl (unique background character cut from the game).
- (Similarly with other strippers), it is possible to get her outside in the rain. Doing so will make her outfit and body wet. This turns her shorts from light blue to navy blue, pink boots into purple and white crop-top into being partially see-through.
- There is a glitch in the corner of the room where her cash register is at, where if you were to headshot her from behind, there is a chance she'll fall through the map
