Trivia[]
- As an ICA stash contains 3 shurikens, they can be used as an efficent distraction item, similar to the coin; they will make noise and attract attention, and will cause any civilian who finds them to fetch a guard (as with other illegal weapons). Guards who find or are brought to them will take them to a security room, which makes it ideal for getting guards to leave their posts.
- This weapon was first seen nearly a year before it was made available to unlock. It first featured in the The World Is Yours promotional video back in November of 2018.
- The Bat Shuriken heavily resembles Batarangs, a weapon used by the DC Comics superhero Batman. While Batarangs were initially based off of boomerangs, hence the name, modern interpretations of the weapon more closely resemble shurikens.
- This is ironic, considering HITMAN™ 2 was published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, a subsidiary of the company that owns DC Comics.
