- "Police in Hope are searching for 27-year-old Tyler Colvin, who has been missing since Tuesday. He was last seen at Bennet's house on Main Street."
- ―Issue #8 of the Hope News Times.
Bennet's House is a sub-location in Hitman: Absolution. It appears in the mission 'Shaving Lenny' in both segments.
Description

A closeup of Bennet's house in Absolution.
The house is located on main street and across from it is the Cherry Donut shop and the Hope City Fire Department. The property itself appears to be in poor condition with the side garage of the house having an unused car with trash covering it and the door stuck ontop of the hood, an old/worn down swing set in the front, the patio all dirty whilst covered in trash, the Pool filed with unusable/expired toxic gasoline oil and the infamous scrapyard behind the house. The scrapyard also has a grave for the late Hope Cougars member, Darian. The scrapyard also has a side-cage for Bennet's dog, Flash.
The owner 'Bennet' is absent during the mission but appears to be out running errands as his clothes can be seen drying upstairs. Bennet also owns his own mechanic shop down the road under the name 'Bennet's Garage'. The house also has a basement which can only be accessed outside with a keycard that can exclusively be found at the Garage mechanic shop. Aside from this, the house doesn't serve a major purpose aside from the fact an alternate radio can be found on the Patio and the pool is an unique interactable weapon.
Behind the Scenes
During the production of 'Hitman 5', the house originally belonged in the Hope Trailer park, with it appearing in two pieces of concept art. Eventually the trailer park was scrapped and it turned into the small town of Hope. In 2010-11 when the developers became programming, rendering and modeling the game with the IP name being 'Absolution' the house was then shifted to be owned by cut & unseen character 'Big Mama'. According to an unreleased render seen in Full Disclosure and the unfinished animatic 'Wrath of Hitman: Sinners', Ma primarily owned the house with her three boys which internally, the house was referred too as 'Ma's House'.

The house would've had its own interior as well with Ma primarily roaming the ground floor area of the house. The pool was originally designed for the player to push 'Ma' and kill her. However due to time constraints and issues, Big Mama along with her boys were cut from the game...with them becoming unseen characters instead. The house was then given to 'Bennet' instead. In the final game however the house has an unseen upstairs interior, as the player can walk around inside of it and the balcony. There also appears to be cracked windows inside as well, which could be a leftover. The house also has an unseen backyard which the player can walk around as well.
Trivia
- The car in the garage can be destroyed with use of Point Shooting or a remote explosive.
- The name of the house is never mentioned or uttered in the final game, and is only mentioned in issue #8 of the Hope News Times newspaper.
