Description[]
"A vintage Branson MD-2 microphone. This rare model was removed from the market in the 1960s, after causing a number of electric shock fatalities. Apparently, production defect makes the MD-2 short-circuit at high voltages."

Trivia[]
- The microphone is most likely named after real-world entrepreneur Richard Branson. In addition, Thomas Cross, a character mentioned in Club 27, is based on Branson.
- According to sound crew dialogue in Club 27, an MD-2 microphone electrocuted two musicians called Fab Chamberlin and Jesse Mulholland in the 1960s. It was taken off the market shortly after, and almost bankrupted Branson Tech.
- The production error that causes the MD-2 to be fatal is most likely poor grounding, as it is incapable of electrocuting targets without a voltage meter.
- In all three of its appearances, the MD-2 is used for a specific target kill.
- In Club 27, it can be used to kill Jordan Cross.
- In The Farewell, it can be used to kill Don Archibald Yates.
- In The Dartmoor Garden Show, it can be used to kill Sebastian Sato.
- Tampering with the voltage is an illegal action in both The Farewell and The Dartmoor Garden Show.
- Placing an MD-2 microphone when the voltage is high will severely damage 47.
