Call Me 47 is the fourth cinematic in the main story of HITMAN™. It follows the The Final Test prologue mission, bridging the twenty-year gap between the prologue and present-day mission, The Showstopper.

Summary[]

In the 12th of December 1999, having successfully outplayed ICA Training Director Erich Soders, a victorious Diana Burnwood and newly instated Agent 47 begin their working relationship. Lucas Grey narrates over several of 47's contracts across the ensuing years, implying he's observed his actions from afar. In September 2019, 47 flies to Paris for his latest contract.

Transcript[]

Fade in on Diana Burnwood facing Erich Soders.

Soders: "I hope you know what you just did. The chopper leaves at dawn. Now get out of my sight."

Diana leaves, and walks with 47 to the ICA Facility's helipad, where the chopper awaits.

Agent 47: "So what happens now?"

Diana: "You go back into the world. Disappear. Stay on your own and on the move. When we need you, we will contact you."

Agent 47: "And Soders?"

Diana: "He played his hand, and he lost. He cannot touch us now. Still, I can't believe we beat him at his own game."

Agent 47: "If you know your enemy..."

Diana: "Quite right. I should tell you, the trail went dead after Romania. Our team found no records of any kind. No name, nothing."

Agent 47: "I think they called me '47'."

47 heads to the chopper.

Diana: "That's...not a name."

Agent 47: "So make it one."

47's chopper soars through the Greenlandic mountains.

Diana (VO): "All right. Agent 47."

Later, in Hong Kong, 47 takes a sniper shot perched atop a billboard. At a restaurant in Japan, he poisons Masahiro Hayamoto Jr. disguised as a chef. He's next seen drowning Fritz Fuchs at a hotel pool in Budapest. We see Fernando Xalvador Delgado playing cello on his terrace in Chile.

Lucas Grey (VO): "You were always the best. Nobody ever came close. You defined the art and it defines you."

47 strangles Delgado with a fiber wire. We then see him aim at a glass window in the Vixen Club.

Grey (VO): "Your actions have changed the world."

47 fires into the glass, sending Dom Osmond to the floor.

Grey (VO): "Powerful men have fallen by your hand. But by the same token, others have risen."

Diana waits at an airport terminal.

Grey (VO): "Do you realize what kind of world you've been shaping? Does the ICA?"

Diana walks away, revealing 47 sitting behind her.

Grey (VO): "Does your Handler?"

47 picks up a boarding pass; his weapons and gadgets, shown interspersed throughout the cinematic, are now seen on full display.

Grey (VO): "I live in that world."

A plane flies overhead; Grey is seen overlooking the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

Grey (VO): "I have seen the consequences. I have felt the cost."

Grey walks away, toward the camera.

Grey (VO): "That's what defines me."

Fade to black.
