The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) is a civilian intelligence agency of the United States government responsible for providing national security intelligence assessment to senior policymakers.

Involvement with the Agency[]
The International Contract Agency has ties to several major governments in the Central Intelligence Agency (via Agent Smith), Federal Bureau of Investigation (prior to The Franchise taking it from them), MI5/MI6, National Security Agency, Interpol, and the United Nations.
The CIA engaged in covert activities at the request of the President of the United States. In reality, it was heavily involved in illegal cloning programs, which were lead by Alexander Leland Cayne, the former Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.[1]
Anthony Martinez, a corrupt CIA agent who had been illegally selling firearms to his lover, Vaana Ketlyn, was assassinated by Agent 47 at one of Ketlyn's masquerade parties, along with Ketlyn herself.
