Charlie Sidjan was a very talented Indonesian hacker, kleptology expert, and electronics tycoon based in the Petronas Tower in Kuala Lumpur and one of 47s targets in Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, during the mission Basement Killing and later The Jacuzzi Job.

Born in Indonesia (possibly Sumatra) with Minangkabau origins, Charlie Sidjan, became involved in local criminal activities from an early age. A large consignment of dadab (illicit drugs) was discovered by the police, and he was forced to flee across the Mallacan Strait to Singapore, and there on to Kuala Lumpur, where he used his hi-tech prowess and skills to establish the potent hacker corporation called Carniwarez Inc. Computer Systems, which he used as a cover to run his business.

During the years he developed a passion for cheap women and expensive art, including an extremely rare and valuable 16th century statue.

Hitman 2: Silent Assassin

He had managed to steal an extremely valuable piece of software. It worked as a key signature in military software, and was until recently the exclusive property of the US Government. With this nifty piece of software in the hands of an adversary, any incoming missile will be detected as American, which renders an otherwise clever missile shield worthless.

He has an identical twin brother who attempts to hack the missile guidance system. Upon killing Sidjan's brother, 47 discovers the truth, and learns that the real Charlie Sidjan is in his penthouse suite on top of the Petronas Tower. 47 then infiltrates the penthouse, steals several valuable items, and assassinates the real Sidjan, who is in a hot tub with several women, that act as his bodyguards.

  • Initially, the target photograph given to 47 was actually that of his twin brother. The Agency was unaware that Sidjan has an identical twin, and is thus unable to inform 47 when he is hired to kill Sidjan.
