Dartmoor is a region in the southern county of Devon, England, and is home to the second mission in HITMAN™ III, Death in the Family, as well as the Dartmoor Garden Show permanent event.
Description[]
The mission area encompasses Thornbridge Manor and its grounds. The large, sprawling mansion sits next to a river, which, along with its feeder streams, defines the boundaries of the property. Notable features on the ground include a hedge garden, a greenhouse, and a graveyard adjacent to a ruined stone church. One vehicle road leads to the mansion, but the streams that feed into the river can be crossed at a few shallow points. Somewhat unusually compared to other maps, there is no basement or other underground portion.

- Dartmoor was the second HITMAN™ III location to be shown to the public in in-game footage and was revealed alongside The Thornbridge Mystery trailer.
- Dartmoor missions, contracts, elusive targets, and one of the escalations are unavailable for at least some digital versions on the Xbox platforms.
- While outdoors, distant artillery fire can sometimes be heard, referring to the real Dartmoor's extensive use as a military training area.
