Elderly Assistance is a feat challenge to achieve in the Another Life mission in Whittleton Creek.
To accomplish the challenge, Agent 47 must make Janus' last day alive the best day of his life.
Objective[]
- Figure out a way to make Janus' day.
Rewards[]
- +1000 XP.
Walkthrough[]
The challenge has 7 parts (can be completed in any order):
- Turn on the gramophone in Janus' house, and have Janus investigate.
- Janus must finish recounting his story from his past for this part of the challenge to count as completed.
- Have Janus' complete his health checkup.
- This can be completed by yourself in the Nurse disguise, or by the nurse himself.
- The nurse is found by the river near the garbage truck. He will only head to Janus' property once you scare the ducks he is talking to away (e.g., by shooting or throwing something at them). Note that sometimes the game does not spawn the duck models. Reloading a save can sometimes fix this.
- Replace the empty cigarette box next to Janus' oxygen tank, and have Janus smoke the replacement box successfully.
- Notably, Janus' main bodyguard (Gunther Mueller) will confiscate the replaced box if he sees it, so you will have to distract, pacify, or kill him beforehand.
- There are at least two replacement Cigarette Boxes on the level: one carried by Gunther Mueller himself, and another in the bushes of the Hanson property, which is next-door to Janus'.
- Put a muffin onto the empty plate in Janus' kitchen, and have him eat it.
- Pour Janus a glass of tea in his kitchen, and have him drink it.
- Fill in the mole holes in Janus' backyard, and have him notice.
- There are 6 mole holes total, and they can be filled by a wide variety of objects. Muffins are an easy item to fill them with; as are the busts from Janus' basement nearby, if you have already broken in.
- One way to prompt Janus to notice is to wear the Gardener disguise and then talk to the guard in yellow in the Janus' backyard. He will then call for Janus to come check the mole holes.
- Have Janus visit Helen West and finish talking with her.
- The prerequisite for Janus heading over to the West property is the completion of his health checkup (by either yourself or his nurse). He will then go over (along with Gunther, if he has not been pacified or killed at this point) at the next opportunity within his scripted routine.
- A hint for the checkup being require first is given during Janus' phone call with Helen West: when she asks him when he is coming over next, he reports that his knee (or similar) is bothering him.
