Emma Carlisle is a major character in the mission Death in the Family and a target in The Envy Contention in HITMAN™ III.
Background[]
Emma Carlisle is the wife of Gregory Carlisle and the mother of Patrick Carlisle. Unbeknownst to most of the family, Emma is the illegitimate child of Montgomery Carlisle and a woman named Jane. When Emma witnessed Alexa Christine Carlisle and Zachary Carlisle murder her father, Jane influenced her to get revenge on both of them.
She would then marry Gregory and, following Alexa's apparent death, fatally poison Zachary. When Alexa unexpectedly returned alive, Emma began to plot her murder as well, in order to ensure she would become the heiress of the Carlisle fortune.
Dartmoor[]
Emma is found pacing around in the living room of the manor, occasionally talking to Gregory about her concerns. She will often stand near the windows, where she looks at a portrait of Montgomery. Phineas Whitmer will make note of Emma's resemblance to Montgomery, her unusual attachment to the manor, and how her informal shoes don't fit with the rest of her outfit.
If interrogated as the private investigator, Emma will mention that she had a headache and went to bed early after dinner. This turns out to be a lie - If Rosie is questioned in the kitchen, she will state seeing Emma exit the greenhouse that night. If the family portrait is taken, Emma will then head to the greenhouse. If discovered there, she will tell 47 that she was simply taking a look inside and then leave, only to go back in when he has left.
A letter from Emma's mother Jane can be found hidden on the pillow of Emma's bed. This letter confirms that Emma is Montgomery's illegitimate child and details her revenge plan.
Searching her and Gregory's room reveals that Emma murdered Zachary - After finding the manor's floor plans, she gained access to a hidden door leading to Zachary's bedroom and poisoned his whiskey with extract from a plant he was growing. She then locked the room from the inside and wrote a suicide note to frame his death as a suicide.
Mendoza[]

Appearance[]
Emma is a woman with short ginger hair and brown eyes. She wears golden earrings, a pink and purple-striped cardigan over a blue turtleneck dress, black tights and white canvas shoes.
She normally wears a pair of black high heels, which she got dirty when murdering Zachary. While initially coming off as anxious, Emma is known for being demanding and ambitious. Various housekeepers can be heard complaining about her demands, including her desire to inherit the manor. She appears to disapprove of her husband's lax attitude and his fondness for reading tabloids.
