The Fifteen Bodyguards are featured as secondary targets in both The Last Yardbird and The Pen and The Sword in HITMAN™ 2: Sniper Assassin.
Description[]
The bodyguards are found scattered in various areas across the different sniper maps. Alongside eliminating the three main targets of every sniper mission, it is also highly encouraged to eliminate as many bodyguards in the vicinity as possible
Alarm[]
If all main targets have been eliminated during an evacuation, one by one the guards will also attempt to escape. Once alerted to 47's presence from his point of view, these guards start exchanging bullets and will return fire against the player.
Austria[]
Guillaume Maison's entourage of bodyguards wear a classic all black tie and suit, which are considered as the mission's official bodyguards. Their main task is to guard and protect Elizabeth Lang's wedding for security purposes. They can be found inside the chateau and its other entire grounds as well.
- The Himmelstein guards most likely survived the mission, as in a news broadcast in Nightcall mentions a triple homicide at a wedding, which means that the guards either were not killed or didn't have their bodies found.
Singapore[]
The Khandanyang Military Elite of the Heavenly Guard are the official bodyguards that are scattered around the piers, loading bay, office, warehouse, and in container vans. Some of the guards can also be found onboard the large vessel that will ship the hostages to Khandanyang.
Trivia[]
- The bodyguards on instinct mode are marked orange, not because the player's disguise is blown, but in order to differentiate them from the main targets.
- Bodyguards that have successfully fled around the mission area cannot be killed anymore.
- Bodyguards shoot during the evacuation, but only cause minimal damage, posing little threat.
- While all three targets in Himmelstein have one personal bodyguard each, Lhom Kwai in Hantu Port only has one bodyguard, while the other two targets have two each.
