Heather McCarthy is a new character introduced in Hitman: Absolution and a member of an elite group of killers, code-named The Saints.[1] She is the second of The Saints to die.
History[]
Currently, little is known other than she is a member of the elite ICA team, code-named "The Saints". She is searching for and training potential new members for this group under the specific orders of Benjamin Travis.
Extremely brutal and aggressive champion in combat. She is shown to be particularly proficient in hand to hand combat as evident by her severe blows which not only disarmed Agent 47 but also knocked him down.
She is also known to have served time in Folsom's women prison.

Trivia[]
- She started her career in the ICA from the rank of "sparrow", but later she became an "eagle".
- Every Saint except LaSandra Dixon, who supposed to survive a hunt for Agent 47, has a note that she was killed in action, her corpse was removed and her assets terminated, but Heather's personal file with that note wasn't shown.
- In the "Attack of the Saints" trailer, she seemed to be more effective than the others as she responded to Agent 47's surprise attack with a series of quick reflexes and did the most damage to him. She was the second-last to die in the trailer, and the second to die in the game.
- In her contacts page in the game, there is a note that she has a sadistic streak towards men. It can explain, why did she hide her gun and attack 47 face-to-face with her bare hands.
- From all saints, whose birthdates are known, Heather McCarthy is the oldest one. Jennifer Anne Paxton, who is another target in the beginning of the mission "Attack of the Saints", is 10 years younger than her.
- In the second cut-scene with the Saints in Hitman: Absolution, she was the second saint, who left the bus, and stood on the far left.
- In the game, she is the only saint who indulges herself during a mission by drinking coffee.
- Heather and her teammate Jennifer Anne Paxton are mentioned in the next parts of the level. Dijana Radoncic tries to make contact with them and one of ICA soldiers in the cornfield says their corpses had been found by clean-up crew, called by Jennifer Paxton to take care of any survivors.
- Heather is the first saint, whose elimination in the certain way can give the player an achievement.
- In the mission Attack of the Saints, McCarthy is the only target, who may never start her route. She appears under the hotel and stands motionless until one of the mercenaries near her talk to the others, instructing them what to do. If Agent 47 succesfully assasinated her friend Jennifer Anne Paxton, but didn't go downstairs and made some noises, he would be able to eliminate or subdue distracted guards, one by one. With all of them disappeared, Heather would not be able to leave her starting area.
- In the game, she wears an eye patch over her left eye. In promotional material, she doesn't. In promotional material, she wears a thin leather band around her neck. In the game, she doesn't. In promotional material, the heels and laces off her shoes are of red color which is unique amongst the other saints since all of them wore black thigh high boots. The only exception being Dixon who sports a white colored shoes. In the game, the heels and laces off Jennifer Anne Paxton's shoes are of red color too.
- She is the only saint, whose outfit in the game is more revealing than in trailers. She wears a plunging bodysuit and her buttocks are slightly exposed now.
- Her last name "McCarthy" is of Irish origin. Her hair is red, which is common in Ireland.
