Trivia[]

  • Breaking open a door with the crowbar is a noisy action that will attract the attention of nearby characters. This should be treated the same as how gunshots are heard. Quick enough action performed outside enemy line of sight can negate this.
  • Like some other heavy objects, the crowbar has a secondary use in preventing certain doors from closing. Simply drop the crowbar in the path of the door's movement. This is especially useful in the case of doors can only be opened from one side by a non-authorized person and cannot be picked or broken open, such as some of the automated doors in the GAMA facility. Note that this only works with doors that slide along a track; swinging doors will push the crowbar and most other objects out of the way.
