"Not much is known about the jaguar on the footage. The Indians believe it is a god. They call it 'Tezcatlipoca'. The god of death. There are rumors of sacrifices being made to 'Tezcatlipoca'."
Diana Burnwood, Controller, The Agency

Tezcatlipoca is an unusually large, and extremely fast jaguar worshiped by the U'wa tribe as their "God of Death".

It can be encountered during "The Jungle God" when Agent 47 attempts to locate a secret passage to Pablo Ochoa's camp. Killing the jaguar will provoke the U'wa's anger, turning all U'wa tribesmen hostile against Agent 47. The Jaguar blocks the passage, so to use it, 47 has to kill some animal, indian or drug dealer man and put the body over an altar, buying him time to sneak past as the jaguar is busy eating.

As the altar was bloody, it appears the indians made sacrifices to the jaguar.
