- "Yeah, easy flash. Easy there. Calm down, boy. You see anything? I don't see anything. Come on Flash, Keep it down! There's nothing there!"
- ―Both Dexter Industries guard and Scrapyard mechanic
Flash is a guard bulldog that appears in Hitman: Absolution. He appears in two missions, those being "Shaving Lenny" and "Dexter Industries".
Description[]
Shaving Lenny[]
In Shaving Lenny, Flash appears in a closed off chain-linked fence. If 47 approaches the fence in any way he will bark at him. Doing so causes one of the scrapyard mechanic's to approach Flash to see why he is barking. He will approach a total of 3-4 times giving the playing an ample amount of time to subdue them. If the player wants Flash to stop barking all they'd have to do is use the dog bone and throw it over the fence and the dog will remain calm throughout the mission.
Dexter Industries (mission)[]
In the mission the same dialogue from the mechanic is re-used however Flash cannot be calmed down with a dog bone as it doesn't appear in the mission instead he is only calmed through being scolded at by one of the guards.
Trivia[]
- Flash's name is based off of the well known superhero Flash from DC Comics.
- Flash can be killed however doing so won't affect the score or story. He can only be killed in Shaving Lenny through a "lucky" shot through the fence or in Dexter Industries with a C4 Explosive on the roof.
- Flash appears in the 2011 Gameplay Demo of Shaving Lenny. Absolutely nothing changed.
- Flash is one of the few minor characters to be seen or mentioned throughout the game.
- When Flash is given the dog bone a bone will be teleported into his mouth with the bone the player gave them appearing inside the fence.
