Francoise Munguia (Also known as the Master Chef) is a minor character who appears in Hitman: Absolution. He appears in the mission "A Personal Contract" during the fifth segment "Mansion 2nd Floor".

Overview

Francoise Munguia was the master chef of Diana Burnwood's mansion located in Chicago. When entering the ground floor area of the mansion. 47 will spot Francoise and a bodyguard talking to each other. The bodyguard supposedly asks Francoise what the secret ingredient of his recipe is. Francoise will exclaim that it's a recipe handed down from his master and that only master and apprentice can learn of it. The guard will sarcastically ask if the secret ingredient is salt. In which Francoise will angrily scold him explaining he is one of the finest chefs in America and tell the guard to leave the kitchen since he was offended by him.

Sleeping Pills

It is possible to use sleeping pills on Francoise. When getting the sleeping pills in the upstairs bathroom and spiking Francoise's soup he will take a sip and start to feel the effects. At first he thinks it was a mistake but realizes it wasn't. While retracing his steps he will sit in the nearby corner of the kitchen before passing out. In which will unlock his chef outfit.

Trivia

• Francoise Mungia was a kill-able target in the Contracts Mode for Absolution.
• Francoises name was shown off in the Contracts Mode trailer on August 15, 2012.
• If the player bumps into Francoise while wearing the mansion guard outfit he will specifically tell the player that they can stay and watch but to not distract him from his cooking.
• When entering the Greenhouse part of "A Personal Contract" two guards will walk in your general direction and mention Francoise and say he's "Cooking up a Storm"
• Francoise also makes an appearance in the Professional Edition Concept Artbook.
