Freeform Training is the second training mission in HITMAN™, and the third of four missions in the ICA Facility prologue.
Freeform Training[]
As an ICA agent, every challenge you face can be overcome in multiple ways. Complete this exercise again, this time attacking it from a different angle. Vary your strategy, improvise.
Description[]
Taking place prior to the events of Hitman: Codename 47, Agent 47 is given a simulated mission as his first entrance requirement to join the International Contract Agency. The mission is based on a recently completed ICA contract in which art thief Kalvin Ritter was assassinated during a private party on his yacht.
The mission is a recreated assignment, with simulated environments and weapons. The mission takes place on a poor recreation of a yacht, resembling the setting for Ritter's original assassination, used to test agents before acceptance into the International Contract Agency. The yacht is populated with ICA personnel and actors portraying various persons from the original mission, including Ritter himself.

Trivia[]
- There are a total of 84 civilians in this mission, excluding crowd civilians.
- According to an instruction booklet left on the yacht, the whole ship is in fact a prefabricated set sold by IKEA.
- The original mission is mentioned in the introduction of the Hitman 2 pre-order mission Sniper Assassin, revealing that Ritter is a retired member of the infamous Yardbirds heist crew.
- Among the guests of the party are impersonators acting out younger versions of unseen characters who will later influence the events of Hitman, including Thomas Cross and Isabella Caruso.
- The background of the computer in Ritter's office appears to be an image of the church and pier located in Sapienza.
- An NPC on Ritter's private deck will recognize that a metal bust on display outside his office matches an art piece that was previously stolen from the estate of Marcus Stuyvesant.
- The player can find hidden text written on the wooden floors of the yacht, reading "IOI, THE GAME WOOD ASSOCIATION"
- When 47 leaves the cargo deck, two mechanics can be briefly overheard saying "That was definitely him, wasn't it?" "Sh."
