The Gardener outfit is a recurring disguise that appeared in several games of the Hitman franchise.
Description[]
Hitman 2: Silent Assassin[]
This outfit is only seen for a short portion of the game. The outfit appears in the intro, in The Gontranno Sanctuary, when Agent 47 is sitting inside the Garden Shed. He proceeds to remove it and switch into his Suit after Emilio Vittorio is kidnapped, and does not wear it for the rest of the game.
Hitman: Contracts[]
Worn by the gardeners in Slaying a Dragon. It allows 47 to enter the gardens of Chiu Dai Park.
Hitman: Absolution[]
"This outfit is worn by the garden staff attached to Diana Burnwood's mansion."
Worn by all the gardeners of Diana Burnwood's mansion. It allows Agent 47 to infiltrate the greenhouse without arousing any suspicion (at least to most of the gardeners), and later allows access to the mansion itself. The disguise becomes obsolete when 47 leaves the greenhouse.
HITMAN™[]
Worn by the gardeners in World of Tomorrow, Landslide and The Author.
In World of Tomorrow, gardeners have access to the castle ruin, the exterior and basement of Villa Caruso and the non-basement areas of the church. Almost all of the gardeners can see through this disguise.
In Landslide, gardeners don't have access to any restricted areas so that there’s no difference between this disguise and Agent 47's suit.
In The Author, there’s only one lone gardener in the graveyard from which the disguise can be obtained. It allows access to the (now restricted) graveyard and the sewer.
HITMAN™ 2[]
Worn by the gardeners in Three-Headed Serpent and also Nolan Cassidy's undercover agents in Another Life.
In Three-Headed Serpent, the disguise grants access to the exterior and garage of the Delgado mansion.
In Another Life, gardeners have access to the garden and ground floor of the West property, garden of the Janus property, shed in the park and the protected reservoir. Some of the gardeners are actually armed undercover operatives, however, the outfit does not allow the player to carry weapons legally.
HITMAN™ III[]
Worn by the gardeners tending to the foliage outside Thornbridge Manor in Death in the Family and the Dartmoor Garden Show, the disguise consists of a forest green cap and teal coveralls. The disguise allows access to the grounds of the mansion and the staff room. It allows the player to place objects such as bombs in mole holes without arousing suspicion.
