Giles Northcott is a VIP in Beldingford Manor, which is a mission in Hitman: Contracts. Northcott is the son of the mission client⁣⁣ and was kidnapped by Winston and Alaister Beldingford.

Background

The Client describes his son as a promising academic without much savoir-faire and no interest what-so-ever in the hunt.

Motive for the abduction remains a mystery.

He was born into the nouveau riche family, the Northcotts. His father was the patriarch. Beyond having no interest in hunting, he was a champion track runner at Oxford for three years. He has no combat abilities and is understandably terrified of the situation he finds himself in.

History

He was kidnapped by Alistair Beldingford’s men, son of Lord Winston Beldingford, the head of the old blue-blooded Beldingford family, in 2000. He was possibly the target due to the rivalry between old and new money. He was going to be the target for their human hunting party. They beat him and kept him in the stables of the manor. The night before the party could happen, his father hired the International Contract Agency to save his son,and assassinate the Beldingfords, which he succeeded in doing. When 47 reached him in the stables, Giles initially thought he was one of the Hunters, and begged for his life, having recently been beaten. He offered 47 his father's money, but 47 told him to keep quiet and that he was there to rescue him. Giles quickly regained his composure, thanked 47, and confirmed that he could escape unassisted. He ran away undetected, using his track skills to run out of the area, and returned to his father safely with just some bruises.

• Northcott bears a strong resemblance to Jesper Kyd, the composer of the Hitman soundtracks.
• Some fans believe that the ICA client code-named Locksley is actually Giles,;they both are reclusive British multi-multimillionaires, and Giles’ father has used the ICA in the past, specifically using Agent 47. If that waeretrue, this would make Giles Taheiji Koyama‘s connection to the ICA. This is a plausible theory, since Giles is now aware of the ICA through his rescue and would be wealthy enough to contract multiple hits.
