The Gold Coin is a distraction device that appears in the World of Assassination Trilogy. Like all coins, it can be thrown as an audible distraction, in which a target will pick it up.

  • The front face of the coin shows a double-headed eagle with the words "3 OZ GOLD" above it. The rear face displays a bearded man's face in profile, with the Latin "QUIA AURUM OCCIDERENT" above it and the year "1932" beneath.
  • The Latin phrase stamped on the coin is meant to be translated as "Killing for gold".
