Guillaume Maison (also known as "The Kingfisher") is a member of "The Yardbirds" and a target in a mission The Last Yardbird in HITMAN™ 2: Sniper Assassin.

Background[]

Trained by Interpol, Guillaume Maison, also known as "The Kingfisher" was a consummate infiltration specialist. An expert at forgery and confidence trickery, he spent his early youth assuming whatever identities he needed to get ahead in life and hustling millionaires engaged in slum terrorism on the dark continent of the late 70s. However, a darker side of him emerged in Africa, and he was forced to flee and assume a new identity after he was charged with murder.

Back in France, he joined the police force, worked his way up and graduated to Interpol. Cleverly, he used his new job as a cover for his true passion - breaking and entering - throwing decoys in all directions but his own, thus attracting the attention of Aleksander Kovak and his Yardbirds. Maison formally joined the gang in the early 80s and worked with them well into the 90s until he retired from Interpol, and his career as a thief came to an end. While he was in the gang, Maison was instrumental in Yardbird's success, using his position within Interpol to both acquire new targets but also direct attention away from the members of the gang. The "Shamal Casino Affair" was a tough one to handle, but with Kovak's help and guidance, Maison managed to shift the blame for the heist onto another group of thieves and made sure they all died during an Interpol raid. Having purchased a mansion, Maison has been living a good life in Austria. However, he's running out of money and has invited Lang and Lee it's time to crack open the casino coffers.
