- "Did you prep the hawaii room? Good. Makes sure there's whiskey and plenty of of it. Spare no expense."
- ―Dom Osmond
The Hawaii Room (also referred too as Hawaii Show or simply "Hawaii") is a room located in the Derelict Building level during Hunter and Hunted. The location appears in Hitman: Absolution.
Storyline[]
This room has a surprising amount of backstory around it. During the mission in the level/location the Vixen Club we overhear from an officer than he and others found a body raped & killed. It is learned that while the Chicago police are on the hunt for 47 they also have a warrant on the club as they found the body of a deceased stripper. There is of course mentions of a missing stripper known as Amber. The room itself has camera's bottles and all sorts of materials. The chair in the middle implies a bondage fetish like film has taken place as there are

Dialogue[]
This will be a list of all dialogue found within the game. Where characters speak about the Hawaii Room and Amber. This list will be in chronological order.
David Skarin and Thomas Nadel[]
In the beginning hallway of the Vixen Club we see a civilian and a bouncer talking. The civilian wants to get in however cannot as he has no money. He requests a favor from Thomas to give Amber a message for him. Thomas blows him off and they both walk out the club.
Two drunk officers[]
(Purist Mode Only) - If the player moves on they will find two drunk Chicago police officers behind the bar. Both talk about the "murder mystery" and 47 (Mentioned as crazed psycho).
Dominic Osmonds Lap-Dance[]
If the player makes their way to the private booths area they will find Elizabeth Bodling smoking and posing. Dom will request her services and the two will enter the private booth. Elizabeth performs the "Alabama Wildflower" just for him. Afterwards he makes a phone call to one of bouncers telling them how he is sending a new girl to the Hawaii room. He asks them to prep the room with whiskey and smoked salmon.
Tara McGowan and Bouncer[]
If the player advances to the backroom area of the club they'll find a half-naked stripped, Tara McGowan speaking with a bouncer. She tells him how if he heard the rumors about the missing strippers and how because Amber went missing she's a bit worried. She also indicated that Amber was scared the night she went missing. The bouncer interrupts her telling her to stay out of this and not to say anything unless she has any useful information. She of course agrees and tell him she is gonna get ready for the "show".
June Drake and Sindy Shrubs[]
After the dialogue with Tara the player can come across June Drake and a new stripper "Sindy Shrubs" who just started stripping. The dialogue starts with Sindy telling June that she's sick of Dom. June tells her to be smart and not say anything stupid. Sindy replies how Dom wanted her to do a show in the backroom and she cannot do that. She says if she didn't do it she would get what happened to Laurie the previous night or worse. June replies how he hit Amber with a billy club instead of a hairbrush. Sindy asks who Amber is and tells June that there's cops all over the club. The dialogue shifts to them getting sidetracked and talking about Dom bribing the police but June tells Sindy to be smart, safe and put a brave face on or she'll be sent to Hawaii. Sindy asks why that'd be bad but is given the answer that if she see's the door that's locked upstairs with the Hawaii sign. June drops the conversation and tells Sindy that they should get back to work.
Dressing Rooms[]
Two bouncers[]
(Purist Mode Only) - When the player enters the upstairs dressing rooms they can over hear two bouncers discussing about the next Hawaii show. One of the bouncers mention he is headed to Chinatown and that he never misses a Hawaii Show.
Lydia Montiel's breakdown[]
After the dialogue with the two bouncers the player will sport four strippers by makeup mirrors. We're gonna pay attention to Lydia Montiel, Christine McCray and Deane Rudy. Here it is discussed and revealed that Lydia was going to be the one sent to Hawaii. She complains how Dom told her that if she doesn't entertain his "friends" she'd be going to Hawaii. Christine McCray tells her that all she has to do is entertain his friends and to try and let them think they own her. She tells her to try and think of something positive. Deane adds her input indicating she and Christine went to "entertain" Dom and his friends as they don't ask twice. From there Lydia begins to sob asking what happens in Hawaii indicating that they saw its really bad to go there. Deane says its similar to performing in the back rooms but it isn't something she wants to be apart of. Deane tells her to stay strong. Christine adds to show them how good she as and not to say yes to everything they say. Lydia gets up and sits on the couch with her hands covering her face. Deane repeats "Poor, Poor, poor, girl".
The Derelict Building[]
Chicago Police Squad[]
The squad in short discuss how they cannot find anything despite smelling a corpse. The captain of the squad even starts a debate on whether stripping is a good or bad job.
Finding Amber's corpse[]
Going upstairs in the Derelict building the player can find Amber. Her gold bikini remains with a bruise on her face, worn eye shadow and ligature marks on her wrists, ankles and neck. It is also implied she (Like Laurie and other strippers) was raped as well. This is due to all the dialogue supported to us and the Hawaii Room. If the player wanted they could dump Amber's corpse over the ledge. It may seem cruel and immoral but it'd at least end the police search and get the club shut down.
Trivia[]
- It's actually thanks to 47 that Lydia Montiel wasn't Dom's next victim. In a way the assassin saved Lydia's life from getting defiled, manipulated and sexual assaulted all by Dominic Osmond.
- The bouncers refer to the room as a show. This is further supported by the camera's located in the room. Implying Dominic Osmond records him sexually assaulting said women.
- It is implied that Christine McCray and Deane Rudy have already went to the Hawaii Room. Fortunately they weren't murdered but were sexually assaulted.
- It's never explained if Laurie is alive or deceased. Given how June Drake said she was assaulted with a billy club instead of a hair brush.
- There remains a hidden/unused achievement from this entire room. The achievement was originally called "Unravel the Secret of Hawaii". This remains to be never explained.
- This room has it's own promotional image.
- Sierra Selvaggia remains to be an unknown case. As her and Dominic Osmond seem to be in a weird kind of relationship.
