Hendrik Schmutz was a target in the Hitman: Blood Money mission A House of Cards.
Details[]
- Height: 6 ft. (1.83 m)
- Weight: 205 lbs. (93 kg.)
- Hair: Blond
- Age: 39
Background[]
He was a known white supremacists leader from South Africa. His name suggests he is of German decent, possibly meaning an ancestor was a colonist that came to South Africa, or he and/or his family immigrated there. His occupation was unknown.
History[]
In 2005, he planned to sell DNA research, which consisted of DNA specimens, elaborate lab reports and valuable informational files, to Saudi sheikh Mohammad Bin Faisal Al-Khalifa (who he has yet to meet for the first time) in exchange for a black suitcase which contained a large amount of untraceable blood diamonds. Schmutz can be found at the bar in the casino drinking and hiting on waitresses, implying his supremacy while doing so. However, after a few drinks, he will go to the restroom. He will also return to his room (707) periodically, which is where a DNA briefcase can be found. He will panic if it is removed, and he will immediately open fire if he sees someone stealing the briefcase. This routine is repeated until Al-Khalifa arrives. Though right before the deal could take place, a contract for the International Contract Agency was made to kill Al-Khalifa, his scientist, and to steal the briefcases in the process. Due to the fact that Schmutz was in possession of the briefcases, he was assigned a target as well. On the night of the deal he was assassinated by the Hitman Agent 47.

Trivia[]
- 47 can pose as Schmutz in his suit when meeting Al-Khalifa, as long as he is carrying the DNA briefcase. This renders Schmutz's disguise obsolete. This also means that Al-Khalifa has never seen or met him before.
- He and Erich Soders are the only South Africans in the Hitman series.
- His surname "Schmutz" is a German word for "dirt".
- It is quite ironic that Schmutz worked with the sheikh and the scientist, due to his status as a white supremacist, which means that he felt that he was superior to both of them.iKnocking
- When knocking out Schmutz, stealing his outfit, and letting a guard find him leads to the Schmutz being bodybagged by the guard instead of being woken up. Once this is done, every guard will treat Schmutz like a dead body.Knocking
- His appearance ingame is very different from his design for the loading screen.
