Hokkaido Snow Festival is a bonus mission in HITMAN™ 2 introduced in the Snow Festival seasonal event. Much like the previous winter-themed bonus mission Holiday Hoarders, the map features a winter-themed overhaul for the Hokkaido location.

Diana Burnwood (VO): "Good evening, 47. Your target is Dmitri Fedorov, currently a patient at the prestigious GAMA facility in Hokkaido.

Fedorov owns a series of infamously unsafe fireworks factories in Russia. In a stroke of poetic justice, four weeks ago, Fedorov was severely injured in an accident at one of his own factories.

He was initially in critical condition, but has since made a miraculous recovery thanks to advance Kronstadt surgical technology used at the facility. Twenty six of his employees were not that lucky. Fedorov now plans to retire in the Bahamas on the insurance collected from the accident. But a group of surviving factory workers have decided to ensure that Fedorov does not leave Hokkaido alive.

Let's make this one count, 47."

Description

Agent 47 returns to the GAMA Facility in the remote mountains of Hokkaido, in order to eliminate Dmitri Fedorov, the owner of several fireworks factories in Russia notorious for their lack of safety measures that resulted in the loss of several people's lives. A few weeks earlier, Fedorov was caught in a factory explosion, and was sent to the GAMA hospital for emergency treatment, making a full recovery... unlike more than a dozen of his workers.

Fedorov now plans to use the large insurance money he collected from the incident to retire to the Bahamas, and is currently recuperating in the hospital, enjoying the Snow Festival décor famous to the area. A group of his former employees have decided, however, that his retirement will be cut short.

	Melee	Concealable Knife	A sharp knife that can be concealed in the handle when holstered. Not detected in frisks when holstered (HITMAN™ III only).

Trivia

• Hokkaido Snow Festival was originally available between January 22^nd, 2019 and Feburary 12^th, 2019. It would later become a permanent addition to the game on December 17^th, 2019.
• Similar to the previous winter-themed bonus mission, Holiday Hoarders, there is no dialogue for the target of Hokkaido Snow Festival, Dmitri Fedorov.
• The Elusive Target symbol is shown during the mission briefing, suggesting that the mission was not initially intended to feature as part of a seasonal event.
• While Hokkaido Snow Festival is set in Hokkaido, a HITMAN™ location, it was introduced in HITMAN™ 2. This makes Hokkaido Snow Festival the only mission in the World of Assasination trilogy that was made for a location that was released in a previous game.
• Fedorov's body guard WILL NOT leave his post nor react in anyway to a distraction.
