The IAGO auction is a secret auction taking place during HITMAN 2016's first mission, The Showstopper.
Background[]
Headed by former supermodel Dalia Margolis and Russian oligarch Viktor Novikov, the spy ring IAGO organizes a number of these auctions around the world under the guise of their front organization, fashion brand Sanguine. Here, IAGO sells stolen secrets and other sensitive information to any buyer, even criminals and terrorists. Power players and leaders from the public and private sector are known to attend and bid on information collected by Sanguine models used by Margolis as spies.
The Showstopper[]
The auction, hosted by Margolis, is being held on the top floor of the Palais de Walewska in Paris, France, while Novikov tends to Sanguine's Fall Fashion Show downstairs. Agent 47 is able to infiltrate the auction as Tobias Rieper in order eliminate Margolis.
Notable representatives bidding at the Paris auction include:
- Sheikh Salman Al-Ghazali (Al-Ghazali royal family and Guest of Honor)
- Sir Humphrey Titus Rutherford (Schaeffer-Moore)
- Mabaya Mzabuni (Crystal Dawn)
- Andrea Martínez (Delgado Drug Cartel)
- Tren Po (Khandanyang government)
- Nelle Brent (U.S. government)
Trivia[]
- According to Bronson, Providence places a buyer at each of these auctions to buy any information they do not want exposed.
- Following the deaths of Margolis and Novikov and the dissolution of IAGO by the events of A Gilded Cage, the auctions were likely discontinued.
