The ICA Data Facility is an underground facility located in Yuzhong District, Chongqing, and belonging to the ICA. It houses the Data Core that needs to be accessed in the mission End of an Era.
Background[]
The ICA Data Facility is a modular facility which, in case of it being compromised, can be completely dismantled in less than 24 hours. Employees enter the facility through a container with a code lock. Inside, the facility is divided into 3 security clearances.
Security Clearance Level 1[]
This level is mainly used as a security check for employees. It houses a vetting office, a scanner that determines a physical/mental score of the subject who goes through it and a break room, where employees are sent by an automated AI.
To get further into the facility, employees are required to pass a Frisk. Multiple level 1 access dongles can be obtained in the security room next to the entrance stairs.
Security Clearance Level 2[]
Level 2 houses the analysis office, the security office and Imogen Royce's office, which contains a monitor that can be used to fire any of the 3 employees on the screen which, when fired, will do a certain action that may be useful to the player.
The required access dongle can be obtained on a table inside the vetting office. More dongles are scattered around level 2 itself.
Security Clearance Level 3[]
The final level houses multiple server rooms, the core control room and the entrance to the Data Core. The core can be cleaned with a monitor inside the control room if the security mechanism is off. If the core detects any remote intrusion, the facility will begin a lockdown sequence.
The required access dongle can be obtained in the armory inside the security office or by obtaining it from Imogen Royce. More dongles are scattered around level 3 itself.
