- This weapon is based on the classic Silverballer, Agent 47's signature weapon, that has been used exclusively by him in many of the previous installments.
- It was later renamed for to the ICA19 Silverballer in the 2018 version in order to better account of the naming convention of the ICA lineup of pistols.
- Update 2.12 for HITMAN™ 2 changed the weapon's inventory icon, and also removed the Steady Aim trait from the weapon. The trait removal was confirmed by IOI as a known issue in the patch notes for Update 2.13.[1]
