Inez Ekwensi (also known as "The Gold-Digger") was the wife of former dictator Richard Ekwensi. She, together with her husband, appeared as an Elusive Target in HITMAN™.

"Inez Ekwensi is an up-and-coming dictator-in-waiting who takes sadistic delight in tormenting servants. Her marriage to Richard Ekwensi was originally considered to be merely a cynical grab for wealth and influence.
However, following her husband's fall from power, she has been working behind the scenes to secure an independent political future for herself. With contacts in the finance ministry, the military and the new caretaker government, she is entirely capable of toppling the fledgling regime back into chaos and using the opportunity to seize power for herself."

- Inez's lavish lifestyle and marriage to a country's leader is most likely based on that of Grace Mugabe, the wife of former Zimbabwean president Robert Mugabe.
- In private phone calls, Inez expresses a desire to murder Richard in order to take over from him. Richard will eventually find out about this and vow to kill Inez on the plane.
- Inez's dress color in HITMAN™ III was briefly silver instead of blue. This was later reverted after The Ex-Dictator's first run.
- When dissatisfied with the hotel restaurant service, Inez will rhetorically ask the waiter if Wen Ts'ai suffered similar disservice during his own visit, implying that the events of The Ex-Dictator mission take place after The Food Critic.
