Applications[]
Sparks. Irons produce sparks when shot, allowing them to be used as fodder for oil traps. Due to their large spark radius, size, and ability to land vertically when thrown, 47 can reliably spring the trap with a sniper rifle or from medium-range with any pistol. Irons are more advantageous for this purpose than a spare wrench or a placed gun, which require much greater accuracy to hit. Using spark fodder conserves resources such as tasers or the oil canister itself.
Audio. Like other metal improvised weapons, irons are quite loud when pacifying victims. While ordinarily a limitation, irons can be used as a distraction and melee device in the same action, drawing people around corners and into rooms with the sound of close combat. This can draw a target from an open space into tight quarters without opening a door and tossing a coin.

Trivia[]
- The Iron appears in HITMAN™ 2 promotional art, held by Agent 47. In the image, the Iron is plugged in and producing steam; despite this, you are unable to use Irons in this fashion in either HITMAN™ 2 or Hitman: Absolution.
