Jeffrey S. Hewitt (also codenamed "Janitor") is a minor character in Hitman: Absolution. He only appears in "Attack of the Saints" during the first segment "Parking".
History[]
Like other members of the ICA Strike Team assigned to help the Saints, very little is known about Jeffrey however it is stated he works as an Agency Soldier/Mercenary. He also serves as the captain for the ICA Strike Team within the mission.
Events of Absolution[]
During the events of Absolution, the Saints are sent to terminate Agent 47 whom was spotted at the Waikiki Inn Hotel. After LaSandra Dixon destroyed a portion of the hotel with an RPG the Saints are sent in different teams. One of those teams involves "Saints Team One" which consists of Heather McCarthy & Jennifer Anne Paxton with Kurt J. Dean and other ICA Strike Team Members, including the captain Jeffrey S. Hewitt.
After 47 exits his wrecked room, looking over the balcony can be heard screams of a woman followed by gunshots showcasing Jeffrey shooting the corpse of an unidentified civilian. Following the death of Jennifer Paxton, once making it to the bottom floor of the hotel Jeffrey tells a group of ICA Soldiers to listen up as they need to follow "Public Operations Protocol" section 3, which indicates to no witness or survivors in or around the hotel. Jeffrey tells the other men that he is aware that it isn't heroism but to just get it done and forget it ever happened. Succeeding this he tells the group the de-briefing is over and to follow the orders made. As Jeffrey and the group walk away, Jeffrey tells command his code name "Janitor", and how clean up is in progress.
Trivia[]
- Jeffrey S. Hewitt was a kill-able target in the Contracts Mode for Absolution.
- In the second segment "Reception" both John Do'oh and Dijana Radoncic try contracting Saints Team One however get no response. It's unknown why Jeffrey doesn't give a response as in Countdown, Blake Dexter's hired mercenaries inform him of Stockton's death.
- Jeffrey is the only Agency Soldier in the mission to use a handgun as other soldiers use the Agency ARZ 160.
- Jeffrey shares the same head model as other soldiers within the same mission, this includes Raymond A. Campisi.
- Fans of the series jokingly refer to Jeffrey as "Agent Janitor" due to his code name/alias being "Janitor".
- Although not directly confirmed, it seems Jeffrey was given information about "Public Operations Protocol" section 3 by Heather McCarthy and not LaSandra Dixon.
