Jin Noo (also known as Colonel Jin Noo and The Blade) is a member of the Heavenly Guard and a target in a mission The Pen and the Sword of HITMAN™ 2: Sniper Assassin.
Background[]
A decorated colonel in Sun Po's "Heavenly Guard", The Blade got his nickname from his up-close weapon of choice. A born sadist and expert melee fighter, The Blade is a ruthless worshipper of Sun Po and one of the dictator's most trusted operatives. He grew up as the son of one of Sun Po's best personal bodyguards and was groomed for a similar position from a young age. However, his natural talents were quickly discovered to lie elsewhere and he was trained as an up-close assassin instead.
Jin Noo was instrumental in the dismantling of an internal operation to end the life of the Heavenly Leader and replace him with one of his disloyal generals. He had discovered the conspiracy while finishing off his training in the southern part of Khandanyang, a place of general unrest and heavily influenced by the Western world. Here, a rogue general was, with the help of the American CIA, building a small rebel army in the jungle, training them for a military coup. Jin Noo gathered a small group of five trainees with him and infiltrated the jungle base, slaughtering the rebel soldiers in what since became known as the Night of the Blades and captured the general who could later stand trial and suffer public execution at the hands of Sun Po's sadistic heir, Tren Po. Jin Noo graduated with honors from the academy and was allowed to head up a special branch of the 7th Special Forces Group, which exists to this day.
Jin Noo now spends most of his life away from his beloved Khandanyang, performing black ops assassination missions for the Heavenly Leader. He heads up a special branch of the Heavenly Guard, which appears more like a ragged bunch of mercenaries than an elite squad ops force but despite their colorful appearances, the 7th Special Forces Group is extremely effective and deadly.

Trivia[]
- Jin Noo is a fanatic worshipper of Sun Po and his ideas, as well as a born sadist.
- He would carry on Sun Po's mission with any cost, and would be the one charged to execute his hostages prematurely should any alarm be raised by a hostile presence like Agent 47.
- Nevertheless, he does (possibly) have a soft spot towards his right-hand woman, Re Thak, by seeing her potential and training her to be a skilled agent like himself, despite her parents being executed for suspected treason. Whether he was out of true feeling or being pragmatic was undisclosed.
- He was featured in Whittleton Creek during the briefing, when he started kidnapping both of the hostages.
- He is also presumably the main target during The Pen and The Sword mission among the three targets.
- "The Blade" is his codename given by Sun Po.
- After sealing the hostages inside the container van, it is possible for all three of them to meet at Dock 11, where there is a chance to ram them with a suspended container van. You can only make this happen if an alarm has not trip off. You can make the three of them meet by shooting the ship's rear siren for at least three times. By then, he will be staying at his office located in front of the harbor's docks.
- If Jin Noo was still alive when Agent 47 (potentially) raised the alarm, he would rush towards the hostages and kill them, causing 47's mission to fail immediately.
- As such, Jin Noo is the only target in Sniper Assassin to be able to retaliate and cause the failure of the mission, by killing the hostages if he was alerted. It made him arguably and potentially the most dangerous main target in any Sniper Assassin missions. It is recommended that he should be eliminated first before either Re or Lhom on the run.
- He is also one of the few targets appearing in World of Assassination that can potentially retaliate, not by attacking 47, but by killing the people he tried to rescue, which are Han Ldong and Mina Ldong.
