Joanne Bayswater (also known as "The Iconoclast" and "The Perfectionist") is an assassin and an Elusive target in HITMAN™ III. She appears in the mission The Farewell.
Biography[]
Description and Behavior[]
An attractive blond woman, Joanne Bayswater is a prototypical "femme fatale" who is beginning to work as an independent assassin, in direct competition with the ICA and similar organizations. She spends her time between the reception floor and the dining area above, talking to potential clients. Joanne and Corvo Black know one another and will exchange greetings as she passes by him, although she sees him as a rival. Her preferred variety of wine is Malbec.
In spite of being a master assassin, she doesn't retaliate and fight back if she discovers 47's intention to kill her, instead cowering and fleeing like most of the other targets in World of Assassination trilogy. This is due to the AI's simple binary division between security and civilian characters in the three games.

During the mission, she will give her business card to a troubled woman named Sarah Kavanagh, who freaks out upon discovering Joanne's true occupation. 47 can give the card back to Joanne by retrieving it from Sarah's body, causing Joanne to head downstairs and to the area outside of the cinema room in anticipation of a meeting with a potential client.

Trivia[]
- Bayswater was the official Elusive Target for the Season of Pride during the Seven Deadly Sins roadmaps.
- She also represents the sin of Pride.
- Joanne Bayswater worked for an unknown contracting agency that was a rival to the ICA.
- She knew an "old friend" of 47's named Robert Montgomery, who is Agent Montgomery, who led the ICA Agents in "Apex Predator".
- Joanne shares similarities to both Mark Faba, 47 and Diana Burnwood:
- Like Faba, Bayswater is an English assassin and an Elusive Target. However, while Faba is hands-on and spends his missions vigorously preparing for a hit, Bayswater has her employees perform the contracts. In addition, he is creative and elaborate with his kills while Bayswater eschews creativity for simple methods such as sniping.
- Like 47, she's an enigmatic master assassin. However, while 47 takes care to avoid collateral damage, Joanne revels in it. While 47 wears a black suit, she wears a white one.
- Like Burnwood, she is a handler. While Burnwood co-operates with 47, Joanne declines hearing about motives for her contracts and never addresses her assassin by name.
- Joanne is accompanied by a bodyguard who acts as an enforcer for all of 47's security disguises. In addition, she will always sample food near a waiter who is an enforcer for the Waiter outfit.
- The earpiece enabled 47 to use the sniper team to eliminate Joanne with an accident kill in the first release of this elusive target. However the earpiece in question was removed from both Elusive Target Arcade and future reruns, making it impossible to outsource the contract to the sniper team this time.
