John J. Woods (also known as Mr. Woods) was a mission target cut from Hitman: Blood Money. He was originally going to appear in the original version of the scrapped seventh mission.
Description[]
Very little about John is known aside from the fact he was a corrupt lawyer.
Overview[]
In April 2021, a group of Dataminers from the Hitman Forums[1] found a bunch of cut content in the game files. according to them, the original version of the seventh mission took place in Mississippi on January 12, 2005. The mission would've taken place inbetween Murder of Crows and Death of the Mississippi. The mission location was also going to be set on a fishing dock but dataminers speculate this was just a placeholder as both the missions; Death of a Showman & Till Death Do Us Part feature docking areas as well. Interestingly, the cinematic cutscene for Death of the Mississippi is heavily speculated to be for the original mission for John Woods as its setup could be used for any mission in the game[2]. Unfortunately, nothing more is known for the mission and John J. Woods.
