Kody Haynes (also known as "The Collector") is an art collector, and an Elusive target in HITMAN™ III. He appeared in the mission Death in the Family.
Biography[]
Freed from all social ties, his collecting took a turn to a dark extreme. now fully dedicated to his collecting, but without any funds to pay for it, Kody Haynes had to get creative. Always the planner and highly skilled at pretending, he developed and perfected intricate cover stories and disguises to steal the art he wanted for his collections. Perfecting the way he procured the art granted him access to greater works, but even so it was no longer enough to satisfy his possessive need. Like a jealous lover, the thought of any previous owners began to torture him.
In his current collection - the complete oeuvre of Sisal Bardu - he found the solution to his problem. He no longer accepts any previous owners left alive.Description and Behavior[]
Kody Haynes starts outside the greenhouse, guising as Finbarr Higgins, who is a wildlife inspector that is searching for a purportedly stolen ghost orchid. He makes his way into the living room, talking to certain people like Rebecca Carlisle and a maid in the sitting room, and speaks in a distinctive Welsh accent as he makes conversations with them. However, he is unable to get to the painting as his bodyguard, Marvin, refuses to let him search upstairs.
En route to the kitchen, he will excuse himself to use the toilet, using the opportunity to change into a manservant outfit. He makes his way to Alexa Christine Carlisle's quarters, convincing a maid that he is a newly-hired servant called Pete. Kody will find the Painting of Sisal Bardu in Alexa's office. As the painting is guarded, he will wander around the mansion cleaning and plotting out a plan to murder Alexa in order to steal it.
If Marvin is removed from the room, Kody will carve the painting down with a Hobby Knife, planning to come back for her another day. He will then leave the mansion and head for his van. If he is allowed to escape, the mission will be failed, while if he discovers that the painting is gone, he will attempt to escape the mission grounds.

- Kody Haynes is the first original elusive target in HITMAN™ III.
- In the game, he appears to be missing both his middle finger and his ring finger on his right arm.
- When Kody is subdued or killed, he drops both a Top Floor Plan and a Hobby Knife.
- The intel picture of him during the Elusive Target mission shows him in the Bodyguard outfit from Sapienza and Marrakesh, although he does not wear this in-game.
- He wears a Mansion Staff disguise once he explores the manor's interiors, looking for the Painting, as well as to get away with his personal bodyguard.
- He has unique dialogue if he spots Alexa's body.
- If during the mission, his car outside the manor is blown up, he'll attempt to flee on foot. The mission will fail if Kody passes through the area where 47's motorbike is parked.
- He is one of three elusive targets that 47 can get a disguise from, being the Mansion Staff outfit. The others being Ji-Hu and Jimmy Chen.
- He is the official Elusive Target that is featured throughout the Season of Greed.
- He also represents the sin of Greed.
