Your mission in Hong Kong will be fairly complicated. The ultimate target is a triad leader named Lee Hong. He is too well guarded and even if you succeeded in eliminating him, chances are that you would not get out of Hong Kong alive. The agency has prepared a plan that will make Lee Hong lose his influence outside his mansion. We will get back to you when you have completed your first mission.

Description[]
Plot[]
This mission saw Agent 47 assassinating a Red Dragon Triad negotiator during a meeting with a Blue Lotus Triad emissary at the Chiu Dai Park. It was the first of in a series of four assassinations carried out by 47 in Hong Kong, China. The ultimate goal of these missions was to assassinate Lee Hong, the leader of the Red Dragon Triad - a powerful and rightfully feared criminal lord. However, if Agent 47 was to kill him from the get-go, the triad was too powerful and influential for 47 to have a chance of escaping Hong Kong alive, so it had to be weakened first. It was hoped that by killing the triad's chief negotiator, a turf war could be instigated between the Red Dragon Triad and the Blue Lotus Triad, reducing Hong's security and influence in the process.
Location[]
The surrounding area was a square of streets with with various story-high buildings. There were multiple publicly available elevator shafts to access the roofs of said buildings. The park and pagoda in the middle of the square were lush in plants and other materials, and multiple local civilians roamed the streets. The two negotiators arrived by limousines and met inside the pagoda, while Blue Lotus members secured the entire park, making it off-limits for civilians.

Trivia[]
- There are four civilians that wander around the mission area. Agent 47 can kill them and take their clothes, but this does little to aid him in his mission.
- Whenever either of the negotiators get scared by suspicious behavior, they will flee out of 47's reach to their respective limousines; however, the vehicles will not leave the area.
- The Blue Lotus helicopter carrying an M60 gunner might be a reference to the Vietnam War, where American military frequently deployed attack helicopters against the Vietcong and their allies.
- This level was possibly inspired by the 1978 Japanese film The Most Dangerous Game, starring Yasuka Matsuda; in one of the scenes, a SWAT helicopter appears following the assassination of a monk.
