Biography[]
Like his father, Hayamoto Jr. was involved in the syndicate's illegal businesses and played a major role in holding meetings and fixing deals with Yakuza bosses. Hayamoto Jr. is about to establish a deal with Tanaka Kusahana, leader of another Yakuza clan, in his private estate.
It seems that Hayamoto Jr. is a sexual fantasist as during the briefing of the mission (Tracking Hayamoto), he is seen eating Body Sushi (Nyotaimori) along with Tanaka Kushana in a secretly captured footage. Agent 47 infiltrates his private compund and assassinates him by feeding him a poisoned Fugu sushi and placing a transmitter in his body which makes his father come out of his security barriers on his only son's death, paving ways for 47's assassination against Hayamoto Sr.
In the "Legacy" trailer of HITMAN (2016), Hayamoto Jr. was one of the 47's previous targets shown in Lucas Grey's flashback, and he was canonically shown as being poisoned by 47, who dressed up as the waiter and served Fugu sushi to him.
Masahiro Hayamoto Jr. is the primary target in the mission Tracking Hayamoto.

Trivia[]
- One of the silent ways to kill Hayamoto Jr. is to serve Fugu to him, ultimately killing him. The player however gets an alert, which may ruin the Silent Assassin if they aren't stealthy. It can be avoided by being right next to the exit door when Hayamoto dies, but is not necessary to do so to get Silent Assassin rating if the player's didn't get any more alerts, close encounters etc.
- As shown in the HITMAN™ cinematic "Legacy", Hayamoto Jr, was canonically killed by fish-poisoning. However, 47 himself served the fish, which is not too easy to repeat in the game, and the easier route and also the one which is meant to be followed is by placing the fugu fish in his meal and letting the concubine serve it.
- He is one of three targets who can be killed by poisoned sushi, the others being Layla Stockton and Yuki Yamazaki.
