- There have been several street circuits in Miami for HITMAN™ 2 to draw inspiration from;
- From 1985 until 1988, the CART IndyCar series raced at Tamiami Park.
- From 1983 until 1995, IMSA and Trans-Am raced at Museum Park, which was usually referred to as Bicentennial Park on television broadcasts. CART also raced there in 1995.
- In 2002 and 2003, CART returned to Miami at Bayfront Park.
- The Miami International Autodrome was originally proposed in 2019 (a year after HITMAN™ 2's release), and has been used by Formula 1 since 2021. It includes a permanent pit complex, similar to the one depicted in HITMAN™ 2.
