The Modern Lethal Syringe is a deadly poison featured in the World of Assassination Trilogy. Unlike previous entries in the series, the lethal syringe can only be used to poison a target directly and cannot contaminate food or drink. Upon successful injection of the poison, the target will react instantly and die on the spot.

Trivia[]
- The exact poison used in the syringe is not known, though some information can be found in The Finish Line. If used to poison Sierra Knox while disguised as the medic during her medical checkup, 47 describes it as containing floral extracts such as hemlock, belladonna, and aconite.
- Given their similar effects, it is possible the syringe contains the same poison used in the Lethal Poison Vial, with their only difference being the delivery method of the poison. In addition, the label on the Lethal Poison Vial indicates it is intended for intravenous use, making it even more likely the two poisons are the same.
- The act of injection is listed as a 'silent attack', which reduces the chance of nearby NPCs reacting to the sound of the act.
- Should the corpse of a target eliminated by the syringe be discovered, it will not invalidate Silent Assassin ranking provided 47 is not witnessed administering the poison.
