Oliver Winding is an optional target in the The Banker elusive target in HITMAN™ III.
About[]
Oliver Winding used to work for the Central Intelligence Agency as an informant and knows Carlton Smith. He left the agency after he went dark and started working for the financier Le Chiffre.
Agent Smith asks Agent 47 to eliminate Oliver in exchange for an invitation to a poker game at Casino Monarchique, as he might be endangered and believes the entire operation could be compromised.
Behavior[]
He can be found upstairs, spying on the casino's ground floor with binoculars, before entering a nearby room to call Le Chiffre and report to him. After that, he repeatedly returns to his lookout spot and then makes a call again from the room — but from then on, Le Chiffre doesn't answer his calls.
Trivia[]
- Him being added as a secondary target may be a reference to a scrapped idea for Death in the Family, where Emma Carlisle would have been added as a secondary target after accusing her of Zachary Carlisle's murder.
- He's the only target in the World of Assassination Trilogy to not have a Target Intel image, instead using the one used for generic NPCs when selected as targets in Contracts Mode.
- Oliver is named after an Io-Interactive writer of the same name.
