Pertti Järnefelt (also known as "The Bookkeeper") is an Elusive Target in the 2016 release HITMAN™. He appeared in the mission Freedom Fighters.
Background[]
Routes[]
Pertti Järnefelt starts the level by walking from the West Bridge area, along with his entourage of militia. Specifically, he is accompanied by four Militia Elite bodyguards, one of whom is an enforcer for all disguises. Subduing any of the Bookkeeper's bodyguards will trigger an immediate evacuation regardless if you were spotted or not.
Pertti will be roaming in various sections of the militia compound, such as the barn, shooting range, explosives range, the old house, and the main camp area. If alerted, he will run to his car at the West Bridge to escape. If he is able to escape during the mission, the player will fail in fulfilling the contract in killing him.
During the mission, Pertti also keeps a Ledger, in a form of a tablet, that is locked in a vault in Sean Rose's bedroom. Retrieving it will ensure that he will not gain any contact with his clients once again.
Behavior[]
Pertti Järnefelt is sensitive and can easily detect anything wrong, either when his bodyguards are missing, or when there are explosions that occur in game. If the vehicle is destroyed, he will find shelter in the house basement or the northeastern bedroom.
Furthermore whenever his route is halted, will alert and panic him. This causes him to remain at his last upcoming stationary location prior to the alert. He will also not spot and react to 47, when he is not wearing the right disguise, and will not spot him being on a trespassing or in a hostile area zone.
