The Polar Survival Suit is suit featured in HITMAN™ 2: Sniper Assassin and HITMAN™ III. It is a military cold weather uniform, first seen worn by 47 during Crime and Punishment as he marches through the forbidding, snow-covered terrain of the Russian interior to a position overlooking the prison where the mission takes place.
Initially unnamed and unobtainable outside of Sniper Assassin, the suit was eventually made available to unlock for use in HITMAN™ III with the Season of Wrath[1]. The outfit was officially named the "Polar Survival Suit", and became available to unlock in Hokkaido on the 4th of November, 2021.
"A high-performance outfit designed to protect the wearer from extreme weather conditions and subzero temperatures. The white ripstop exterior provides both durability and camouflage in snowy environments."
This suit was previously only usable in the Sniper Assassin game mode, where it went unnamed.
On release, the suit had several issues with trespassing, and was not permitted in player-reserved rooms on maps with a hotel or apartment room intended for the player's personal use (Sapienza, Bangkok, Hokkaido, Haven Island), as well as removing the enforcer status of The Crows in Mumbai's slums. This was likely caused by the suit not being adjusted to regular Hitman maps. These issues were fixed on 24th May, 2022.
The codename for the suit, as unintentionally revealed when the suit first released, is "Hitman Falcon"; Falcon is the codename of the Crime and Punishment mission.
