The Pool Cue is a breakable melee weapon featured in Hitman: Contracts. It was also included in early Hitman: Absolution beta builds, but was ultimately made into a non-interactive prop.
Description[]
The Pool Cue is a breakable melee weapon which can be used to dispatch one or two individuals from behind by impaling them, or by doing a few frontal strikes before it breaks.
Locations[]
Hitman: Contracts[]
Pool cues can be found next to a pool table;
- Found on the second floor of the Beldingford Manor.
- In the bar at Rendezvous in Rotterdam.
- On the 2nd floor of the bar strip in Deadly Cargo (only one pool cue can be found here).
Hitman: Absolution[]
- "Pool Cue needs to be made into a compliant prop or cut."
- ―Playtester
The pool cue was planned to make an appearance in Hitman: Absolution.
In "The Making of Hitman Absolution", the developers had a big board of recommendations that the playtesters gave to the developers of the game to remove/add gameplay features to Absolution. One of those was to make the the pool cue a compliant prop or cut. This was highlighted and the pool cue was turned into a prop.
