Trivia[]
- Remote explosives were featured frequently in the previous versions of Hitman, but often lacked names, simply being labelled Bomb, or occasionally "Car Bomb", depending on its intended purpose. They could be armed, dropped and detonated at will in Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, but they lacked any freedom of placement in Hitman: Contracts. The RU-AP Mine is the best example of a working early version explosive. During some missions in Silent Assassin, the remote bomb could be spawned with the All Weapons cheat for games consoles, and the GiveAll command. Acquiring the Bomb this way allows a player to assassinate targets with it, technically making it the earliest remote explosive.
