Background

Renzo Caruso is the oldest of the three Caruso brothers, and by far the most unhinged. Five years older than Orlando, he was always the subject of intense attention from Isabella Caruso, who repeatedly called him "her biggest disappointment" while showering her attention on the youngest brother, Silvio.

Renzo left Sapienza, taking Orlando with him, and became one of the most feared enforcers and sicarios for the Delgado cartel, with an infamous reputation for brutally torturing Cartel opponents.

• Renzo's name is mentioned by a housekeeper near Isabella Caruso's room in World of Tomorrow.
• Both Renzo and Orlando, called as The Brothers, appear as one of Agent 47's contracts in End of an Era in HITMAN™ III.
• During their contract, it is revealed that Ether is aiding the Delgado cartel in weapons smuggling. This appears to have been retconned, as HITMAN™ 2 reveals that the Delgado cartel is the enemy of the Providence-backed Moreno Cartel.
