Robert Martin is an unique minor character in Hitman: Absolution. He appears in the mission "Hunter and Hunted" during the second segment "Vixen Club".
Overview[]
When 47 enters the establishment to assassinate owner Dominic Osmond, bouncer Robert Martin can be seen having a discussion[1] with customer David Skarin in front of the clubs' cashier Barbie Deep. David tries to tell Robert that he knows Hank that always allows him access into the club. Robert states he doesn't know a "Hank" and scolds that he doesn't come back until he gets money to be allowed in. David asks Robert to do him a favor, which was to tell Amber to leave a "message" for him. Robert sarcastically tells him he'll write it down but angrily tells him to leave. After David mutters to himself, the two walk outside the establishment.
Behind the Scenes[]
In 2012, IoI Interactive released various promotional screenshots for Absolution. One of them showed David Skarin, Barbie Deep & Robert Martin in completely different areas compared to the final game. In early builds, David & Robert had their heart-to-heart outside in the rain right next to the entrance. In the final build, the two have their discussion in front of Barbie.

- Robert Martin was a custom target in the Contracts Mode for Absolution.
- It is theorized that David tried to gaslight/seduce Barbie Deep, hence why she doesn't give any reaction to the situation.
