Trivia[]
- Originally this challenge would unlock the Sacrificial Knife for the player upon completeing the challenge. This was changed in HITMAN™ III to instead be unlocked after reaching Location Mastery Level 16.
- This is one of five challenges to have the reward be removed from the challenge without it being cut. The others being We Meat Again, The Calvino Cacophony, the Silent Assassin challenge for The Delgado Larceny, The Merle Revelation and The Divine Descendance.
- This challenge is a reference to the Indiana Jones movie "Raiders of the Lost Ark". In the opening scene of the movie, Indiana Jones is in a South American jungle searching for a lost gold statue hidden in an ancient ruin. The achievement associated with this challenge - "It Belongs in a Museum" - was a phrase that Indiana Jones often used when confronting villains who sought to steal archaeological artifacts for their personal gain.
Walkthrough[]
- Subdue the shopkeeper near the bar (he sometimes pees into the bushes) and take the key.
- Unlock the door and take the Gold Idol (if lockpicked, the idol will disappear).
- Acquire the Shaman disguise.
- Make your way to the construction site, before going in, take a right and follow the stream. Shoot the log and walk across.
- Follow the path until you reach the tunnel area.
- Use the bust to open the secret entrance.
- Complete the puzzle and obtain the knife.
